It’s been such a long time…
Well, life has changed since the last post. I had a dear, bouncing baby boy who has changed my whole life. He is a happy, healthy kid since birth, which makes me one lucky mom.
What followed was a year of “woah, I’m a parent,” to “who knew a kid could walk this early,” to “Quick, tape rubber on all the sharp edges of everything in the house!” Now, we’re in the midst of toddler hood and my high energy son is keeping us busy.
I went back to work, and will now be leaving after almost a year of daily commute away from our little guy. I didn’t like returning and it took us a year to get all our financial ducks in a row. Oh yea, there was also a bit of an economic collapse, recession and collapse of half our net worth to recover.
But I’ve officially resigned and am looking forward to my new life as a stay at home, effective in May. It should be an interesting adventure and probably similar to playing on a gridiron. Who knew this would one day become a mommy blog?
