Speaking of which, the number of homes over a million dollars have doubled since 2000. Doubled.
They must have checked my neighborhood.
How the hell do people buy anything nowadays??? Were they all born rich? Did they start working earlier? Are they stock market gurus? Where have I gone wrong?
Our neighborhood, a fixer upper is 375. And we’re talking water damage, inability to build due to town restrictions and no appliances. And there’s only one that I’ve seen in a year…A house in move in condition starts at 550,000. And that is with no land. None.
550,000? People, that’s over half a million dollars. Half a million….
I am never going to be able to move…Not at this rate..
